Minimum 1 year of Experience in operating a clamp truck forklift with license.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for
 Mechanical troubleshooting, repairs, installation and preventive maintenance on all production
equipment/machinery such as, but not limited to, labelers/printers, conveyor systems, blowers, chillers,
extruders, slitters, sealing equipment.
 Provide mechanical support and maintenance/repair for building support systems such as, but not limited
to, compressed air, balers, compactors.
 Utilize PLC based control and monitoring systems for troubleshooting.
 Maintain contact and communication with Supervisors and co-workers in order to ensure and report
progress, orally, written and electronically.
 Respond to and complete service calls in an efficient manner.
 Complete work orders and issue out parts using a computer based maintenance mgt system, Mainboss.
 Maintain compliance with all regulatory codes & requirements, company policy and procedural
guidelines. Stay current and trained on all technical advances within area of responsibility.
 Work in a safe manner, utilizing proper tools and equipment for the task.
 Supervise Maintenance mechanic(s) that are performing duties similar to above
 Deliver Performance reviews for direct reports.
 Knowledge of electrical repair is beneficial

Job Description:

• Type of equipment driven would be Raymond Reach or Raymond Dock stocker
• Operates equipment in a consistent manner with company’s Health and Safety policies 
• Uses a Warehouse Management System (WMS) to receive, check, count inventory, verify, sort and classify materials and equipment by stock number, condition and other classifications and note them down in relevant logs. 
• Use a handheld barcode scanner (RF gun), inspect and maintain equipment
• Other tasks could involve wrapping loads with a shrink wrapper, loading goods onto and off a truck.
• Perform order picking which involves lifting and re-palletizing the products
• Unpacks cartons and boxes to check the material and then again seal them.
• Compares data against the documents given by the management and note irregularities if any
• Maintains equipment and A Material Handler’s role usually extends beyond driving the equipment. 
• Materials in a neat, clean and orderly fashion and handles fragile items with care.
• Maintains a clean and secure work area. 
• Perform other duties as assigned 

Job Requirement:

• 1+ years experience with Raymond Reach or Dock stocker (Required)
• Must have valid forklift license for Raymond Reach or Dock stocker
• Ability to work with others as a team 
• Ability to follow basic verbal and written instructions in English 
• Must have CSA approved steel toed Safety Shoes and vest. 
• Attention to detail 
• Prior warehouse/supply chain/equipment service experience preferred
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs
