Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible
for the management of the CMMS relating to SAP PM Module to support the
Brantford site Maintenance requirements.
- Support group activities to ensure availability
of parts for scheduled work orders and Production consumables.
- Collaborate
with the Purchasing Group to accurately manage the weekly MRP report for
inventoried items.
- Issue
required requisitions for non-inventoried items with input from the Equipment
Maintenance Specialist.
- Develop
and maintain equipment bill of materials (BOM).
- Develop
and Maintain inventory materials information to ensure clear specifications
relating to ordering information, material of construction to support Equipment
Qualification details.
- Schedule
the ordering of inventory items based on the schedule for the demand
requirements of each item to reduce the overall inventory from both cost and
space requirements.
- Maintain
inventory nomenclature and warehouse locations to ensure accuracy and easy
accessibility.
- Schedule
and maintain perpetual cycle counting system of inventoried items. Accuracy
reports are to be generated to determine system efficiency.
- Responsible
for the printing and distribution of all Maintenance work order requests and
the generation, printing and distribution of all scheduled preventive
maintenance documentation.
- Management of all PM Forms, Master Forms and
SOPs through change control for Maintenance with support to Engineering as
required.
- Generation
of periodic status reports relating to Maintenance Order and PM status,
Inventory Management and others relating to scheduling as required.
- Implement and support training for all groups
as it relates to Maintenance SAP use.
- Optimization
of SAP use including utilizing resources, training materials from other groups,
development of queries and variants to create efficiencies and improved
oversight in scheduling and planning.
- Support
Maintenance and Engineering change control and deviation initiation through
Trackwise and provide status reports upon request.
- Responsible for ensuring that all maintenance
documentation is completed according to GDP & standard operating
procedures.
- Regulatory, Customer and Internal Audit Support
relating to Maintenance records.
- To manage the record retention and archival
system of Maintenance work orders in a well labelled, organized manner that
enables efficient retrieval.
- Works in a safe manner
collaborating as a team member to achieve all outcomes.

Requirements
Job Requirements:
- Post-secondary education in a computer related

Responsibilities:
- Operate Material Handling Equipment (Counterbalance)
- Move material through the facility as required
- Work in a fast-paced environment building pallets with product to be shipped to fill customer orders
- Moving pallet to correct locations by reading & scanning labels
- Scan product to pallet using an RF Handheld
- Provide materials to the picking line by physically moving them from stock points along the line, off trailers, and from other storage areas.
- Makes sure to replenish locations with the right product.
- Use RF guns to scan items/boxes used for replenishment
- Documenting the work performed
- Assist in the effective completion of inventory audits
- Stacks pallets in designated areas. Clean up and dispose of scrap bracing, cardboard, and strapping and place in proper containers or designated areas
Health & Safety:
- Follow the Occupational Health and Safety Act including Safety, Violence and Harassment laws
- Work in a healthy and safe manner following Metro’s policies, procedures
- Always wear or use protective equipment
- Report any hazards you find in the workplace to your supervisor
- Must not use or operate equipment in a manner that would endanger yourself or others
Requirements
Education:
- High School Diploma
Qualifications:
- At least 1-year warehouse experience operating material handling equipment
- Walkie Operator & Counterbalance experience and certification with proven track record for safety
- Experience with a RF scanner
- Proven communication both written and verbal (French or English)
- Must be capable of sitting, standing, lifting and walking for extended periods of time
- Able to lift, on average 50 lbs, repetitively and safely
- Experience with a WMS (Warehouse Management System) would be a definite asset

- Meeting supply chain objectives.
